RemixOS 1.0 for Draco

Hey guys,

Tronsmart finally released their RemixOS 1.0 based on kitkat 4.42.

It looks very nice. I have it installed right now, needs about 5 minutes and 30 seconds with PhoenixUSBPro to install to the first reboot.
The finally boot needs another minute or so and don't be alarmed, when the strange setup wizard runs in black screen only with the active mouse for an extra minute. The final desktop will come and it the design is pretty cool.

Okay, now I need some time to check, what this OS can do and what not.

No, it is not the beta Version. It is the final 1.0.

Now it has Google apps inside.
So far it works good. Google Play has sometimes an connection error, but with a reboot play works again. The design is pretty cool. My gamepad g910 Form geekbuying does connect finally with the draco, but I have still no game running with the gamepad.
I hope I can fix it. The draco could be a nice gaming machine, if I found a way.

Kodi basicly runs in full HD.
The remote control does not work.

Not fiddled much with Phoenix Pro, but its in and well something is working :-)

Playstore in and updating
Looking good

Only thing I miss "right click" back option I use on the K400r need to use esc-key

Yes, the keyboard has some problems. I don't think the k400r is the cause, it seems to be more the usb driver from allwinner.
Why Tronsmart not installed their remote control is another secret or does it work for you, Trebor.

Not having any USB or Google play errors with keyboard (yet) works well, just miss right click to go back/esc..

Okay and the remote control, I can only switch on the draco. Maybe I have to find the settings.

Well just found the Right Click does commands throws out a small widows (like windows) and some options to fiddle with.
Well that fixes that problem that never existed.

Nice. Logitech wireless USB controller is not shown as input device, but it works for some Gameloft games.

The remixOS launcher is very good.You have always the bars on top and on the bottom reachable.

I see the < and O in lower task bar are for back and home

You tube not playing......just loading fixed
Same with Netflix at this stage fixed

Installed OGYouTube all is now well with YouTube

Netflix is now working, and no problems with Netflix controls and lower task bar

Hy guys,

Can someone tell me how handle videos?
I have doved firmware....and i have choppy video....bad experience.

I want to know if this fimware handle well 1080p

Hm, this is a diffecult question, because you will find always some formats which do not work.
So far for me, I would say the remixOS plays 1080p videos, kodi works in full hd, too. Flash seems to be not supported.

At least, it is a good start this firmware. The hardware of allwinner is strong enough, but I have the impression that the sources for the firmwares are still not as good as possible.

Try it and see for yourself. and in case you don't like it, go back to your favourite.
