Do you have a stock firmware download? If so I can look at it and probably make a update.zip that will root you and pass the signature check in recovery.

I've downloaded the firmware you provided by pm. And this is a workaround to root or install any signed zip to your tvbox.
Instructions:
1) Download this zip http://uploaded.net/file/30x428xl
2) Notice the filename. Extract the contents of the zip in a fat32 formatted sdcard
3) Unplug the power cord
4) Insert sdcard on the tvbox
5) Connect a usb keyboard
6) plug the power cord while holding the reset button pressed
7) On my device the screen goes red, at this moment you can release the reset button
8) Notice the title on top of the screen says Android system Recovery <6e> instead of Android system Recovery <3e>
9) Apply the zip provided,name is "rootme.zip"
10) reboot and you are done.
If you want to install any other zip modified and signed by you, just put it on the sdcard and repeat the instructions until step 9, in that step just choose your zip file instead of "rootme.zip". And go ahead with step 10.

i have a vbox as well from an vmedia iptv provider.
is there some way to get a mouse working on this box either by app or some sort of driver installation?
the current firmware on it only allows the use of their stock remote control to navigate.
some sideloaded apps are not able to make use of the remote navigation and require a mouse or touch input.
I am trying to root my vbox using daemonium's method. Unfortunatly it doesn't work for me. My recovery is still {3e} so probably that is why i get error while flashing rootme.zip. Is there any solution for that?
