    A(@)9 MBOX MX Root and ROM options?

    Hi all. I was given this box for nothing and is not a bad box for what I will use it for however, with it only being on Android 4.2.2 I was wondering if there are any options to update to a newer version? I have looked around and can find nothing for this exact box. I have looked at the Chip inside it and it does say its an AML8726-MX. Can I use any rom built for this SoC on this device? I did try to use Librelec for MX2/G18 but it aborts install from recovery. Is this due to sig check with it not being rooted? have also tried various 1 click root apps and none seem to work.

    What are my options for this box, if any?
