    Chers,
    Stane1983
    nice work mate! thank you for your time and development with this!

    one thing that isn't clear to me though, is this an INSTALL which replaces the android OS / default firmware or is it a live bootable OS running from the SD / USB?

    thank you.

      Hi,

      no, this is installable firmware which will replace your Android fw.

            Amazing! I've been 1 step away from selling my box...
            This is what I was waiting for!
            No more android on this box...

            I'm using it on my S89 elite, mostly as live tv player with tvheadend backend.

            Bugs so far (only tested watching live tv):
            - Deinterlacing option is missing from video settings. I have seen it in some channels so I guess it is dependent of the encoding(?).
            - In some channels the image is flickering a LOT. I guess it is related to deinterlacing.

            Whishlist
            - Add CEC for remote control. This is the only thing I dare to ask

            GOOD JOB stane1983!
            Thank you!

                  Option "Adjust display rate to match video" working! (even for 24fps movies)

                  S89 Elite WiFi (
                  AP6210) not working.
                  Code:
                  [root@AMLinux-M8 /]# iwconfig
                  wlan0     no wireless extensions.

                  Let me know if you need any thing else for this.

                  PS: If possible, please remove this from the kernel logs:
                  ...
                  [ 5208.165903] CTS_CPU_CLK 1800 --> 192 (MHz)
                  [ 5209.147166] CTS_CPU_CLK 192 --> 1800 (MHz)
                  [ 5209.166027] CTS_CPU_CLK 1800 --> 240 (MHz)
                  ...

                        Xbmc only you will see. That will be your home.

                        Not sure about USB, im doing it Via SD Card using Update App, and i dont think USB auto mounts on boot of this device so i dont think USB will work.

                            Can you please log in to box via ssh and send me dmesg output? For example, you can save it to /root/dmesg.txt and then copy it to your computer via SFTP:
                            Code:
                            dmesg >/root/dmesg.txt
                            After that you can delete txt file from box with ftp.

                            Ok, in next build I'll comment out these logs

                              Working Great on s89H , Match frame rate set to each video working perfect so much happier now with playback 24hz and whatever else it requires. Working From Lan right from boot.

                              All xbmc plugins installing with no issues.
                              Steaming From Network Drive 1080p MKVs no issues at all, fast skip / rewind, seek etc.
                              Boots very fast, even the XBMC Gui is faster , you can feel it , very snappy compared to being installed on top of android.

                              Shudown function now working good this really is sweet! welldone on this build, very much appreciated

                              can also confirm the above, some channels i watch are perfect, others you can see have interlacing and flicker.

                              UPDATE.

                              Noticed when you disable AMLCodec in Hardware Acceleration and select Software the interlacing goes away but the playback on effected Live channel streams goes into a more slow motion feel. But only the effected channels, the others still play smooth.
