I tired this and got very high CPU usage. Actually there was always one random core in the 99% range. Let me know how the cpu is on yours. I was using a g box quad core.

Hi there, tried to flash using ipodtouchdude's ROM for my square M8, but got stuck in the M8 logo (instead of the S802) forever. tried the toothpick and also putting stock firmware but no luck. Any idea?

Hey ipodtouchdude. I just ventured into OpenElec territory for the first time this weekend using your builds for the M8. It seems like a really great way to use Kodi on these boxes. One major problem though, it seems like after maybe 30-40 minutes of use, the os starts to lag and you can see noticable lag and delay when scrolling through list items and navigating through menus. Then it starts having issues actually selecting things and may even fail to play things which I have confirmed on other machines should work. It's like if it were experiencing a memory leak or cpu over-utilization, though the stats on that don't show any specifcally elevated use of either resource. Really bizzare and a real shame cause I think I actually like using Openelec over Android for Kodi purposes. I'm going to begin experimenting with the previous 5.0.8 build to see if its more stable. Any ideas what might be causing this?
