installed Finless 2.1...installation went fine, but now i get 'com.android.packageinstaller has stopped' error for any APK

ive been spending hours googling ways to fix this, but nothing has worked thus far

cleared dalvik and regular cache from recovery

do i need to reinstall the ROM, or is their some way to fix this....as is the box is essentially useless

Update: after another couple of fruitless hours, i reinstalled the rom again
this time it wouldnt even boot
stuck on the 'rotating 'finless bob' screen

so finally i did the toothpick thing and got to recovery screen
wiped the entire internal storage, then reinstalled again

this time it fired right up
and since i had loaded Kodi onto the sdcard this time, i immediately installed it before doing ANYTHING else

the normal install screen came up this time, and it installed and ran normally
installed indigo, and did a full restore of all my plugins, and im good to go

on a side note, i have had all my plugins disappear twice in the last 6 months, its well worth doing a backup with Indigo or some such

anyhoo, the rom seems very good....sorry for the tl;dr
