[TUTORIAL] Live TV (tvheadend and oscam) at WeTek Play on OpenELEC 5.0 RC3

hello folks,

I play over weekend with OpenELEC 5.0 RC3 for WeTek Play and I achieve to install tvheadend service and tvheadend addon for Live TV on WeTek Play.

Also I was able to install un-official amlogic repository for OpenELEC 5.0 which contain many interesting tools, and one among them is oscam (open-source cam) about which many asked here to use their own official subscription to watch their tv.

Here is my video tutorial about installation of tvheadend service and pvr addon, and un-official amlogic repository.

After installation oscam is started automatically, and all config files are located in:

/storage/.kodi/userdata/addon_data/service.softcam.oscam/config

oscam web interface is accessible on port 8888 with username oscam and passowrd oscam.

For an example: If your WeTek Play have IP address 192.168.0.5, in web browser you should open http://192.168.0.5:8888

Hummm, this is not developed nor maintained by WeTek. It is a part of unofficial addons for OpenELEC. But as far I understand there is web interface.

Humm just tried web interface and it works.

oscam is a card server. after installatino it work but without configuration is useless. do you know a good tutorial? on the web i find only comand line configuration.

I'm stuck

Got to about the 1:34 mark were you enabled on The TV-setting, i didn't get the pop up "No PVR Add on enabled"
However if I go to Channel Manager and click on that it pulls up "Channel manger-TV channels. In that if i go to "New channels" It brings up a box called "Select backend" and you can chose "KODI vitual backend" or Tvheadend HTSP Client". Clicking on the client it says "not supported by the PVR backend"
Where did I go wrong" Running KODI 5.0.0
To be honest i have played with this before finding your tutorial so maybe screwed something up

Try to do a factory reset, setting up tvheadend at first time might be not easy the first time, it drove me nuts LOL
