      Any Custom ROM/XBMC is available?

Thanks "no_spam_for_me" for the info! I wish it has 2GB RAM version! Any thoughts?

Stock firmware does not include any XBMC apps!
BTW, anyone knows if there is any Custom ROM and/or XBMC available for this MXQ G-Box?

      Thanks in advanced!

Do you have the firmware that came with the device? If not then ask it from the seller.

The S805 is too new and the most prefer to buy the S802 (also the devs)...

There exist optimized XBMC versions for the S802, maybe also helps at S805 ???

there was thread before 805 and finless commented about this box seller as he was comparing 805 to older 8246 chipset not 802 to 805

Yep! it seems be too new in the martket! I got S802 as well, just want to see what's the "Hardware decoding for x265 Codec" as shown in spec. really takes advantage for streaming or not!
I got Beta released version from Factory, which came with box! Couldn't wait to try it out!
              Will see!

              Thanks!

The XBMC 13.2 or this, which is included with the Firmware does not work at all, it crashes right after we launch it! Now I try to use the Kodi 14.0!

The new firmware "KOT49H.20140903 test-keys" seems be a problem, while playing XBMC 14. It keeps loosing the LAN connection (at Control Pannel - Network setting) every 30 minutes! I had to manually reconnect LAN (by Network setting) to make it continues to work! Strange!

Not sure if anyone encountered same problem or know how to solve it?

                        Thanks in advanced!

                              Wrong package?

                              Installing update failed!
This package is for "m201" devices; this is a "hd18q"
