Everything started when I bricked a Vensmile M8S

After have been trying every single ROM I found in this forum, that's the only way I revived mine. http://freaktab.com/forum/tv-player-...=1453546137050

With this zip n200C-ota-20151110.zip I made one sd card with amlogic sd bootcardmaker. Put the SD Card, press the AV hole with a toothpick plug it to the power (in this order) and bum, the m8s got a blue light and started flashing the ROM.

After that I flashed the 5.1.1 rom of this forum https://translate.google.es/translat...7576%26st%3D80 look for the firmware 5.1.1 for pufganda (llc) file. I do not tried the network card cos I do not need it, but at least the system detects it. Rom seems stable enough alltroutgh it is made for the m8s+. I have tried several roms of that russian site, and all seem to work.

I repeat, thats the only way, at least for my m8s which seems a pufganda one. I bought it on aliexpress to Vensmile vendor.

After that I checked in china gadged reviews, and looks that 5.1.1 rom is made by Acemax http://chinagadgetsreviews.com/downl...8s-tv-box.html

In the ACEMAX website they have an update, based at December 16

I TRIED THIS FIRMWARE IN A M8S BOX, AND WIFI WORKED PERFECT. HAVE NOT TRIED ETHERNET NOR BLUETOOTH. IN THE RUSSIAN WEBSITE, THEY TALK ABOUT A FIX FOR THE REMOTE

Perfect ROM on the remote control, I had to install M8S except for the zip package Amlogic remote removed from the forum.
