I have OTT M8S box(S812) and I have some problems in KODI. If I understand right, the KODI has some special accelartion options for Amlogic devices in the form of Amcodec. Beside that there are two more options: Media Codec(Surface) and Media Codec. I tried all the combinations with this three codec( ON/OFF) but everytime Amcodec is turned ON, when I start some stream(movie, tv show) it start ok. But when I click to seek fast forward video stuck, although audio work normally. If I disable Amcodec and leave just two other codecs, it works fine. But since M8S is box with Amlogic chip, I thought that it should work using that Amcodec in Kodi. Does that mean that if I disable Amcoed Kodi don't use video acceleration that this box can provide? And are there some other settings in KODI that I should pay attention because I'm using this kind of box? Any help or suggestions would be much appreciated.
I also tried SPMC and I have the same problem.
