M8S S812 BCM4335 (Need Android 5 firmware + Kodi 17)

I have a OTT M8S, S812 with the BCM4335. Is there anyway I can get Android 5+ working on it so I can run Kodi 17?

I'm reading mixed things on wifi not working etc. I just soft bricked it trying something and when I turned it on I got no light at all. I managed to make a bootable SD with another image and got it running again though. So I am asking before I try something again and brick it for good.

Do you have the stock firmware somewhere, just tried the USB burning tool and I guess my cable warmed us so much it burned down my PC's USB ports and also the ones on the OTT

Did you manage to get the remote working.I've got the m8s box same as you i think.I'm on 4.4.2 and want to upgrade to 5.0 or higher.

For all the ones that have bricked there box you have to use the correct file to un brick it download the ones from this.

Now unzip the Sd card-s812-bcm4335
Then run burntool and choose the u-boot file from inside the where u extracted the SD Card-s812-bcm4335 let that finish
Now copy: factory_update_param.aml, aml_autoscript, recovery.img, bcm4335-ota-20151013.zip onto the SDcard
Put the sdcard in your box and plug power in my box auto detects the card and the blue light comes on and just wait for it to flash if the blue light dont come on then do the toothpick method until u see the blue light on and wait hope that helps.
