    [ROM] KII Valkostur

    Hi guys,
    This is my rom for the KII. Hope you like it.


    What's inside:
    • Rooted with Supersu -Thanks Chainfire
    • init.d support
    • bash and nano in shell
    • adbd is root and listening in your IP - Ethernet only
    • Increased TCP buffers
    • Gmail and Chrome as defaults apps
    • OTA updates
    • Open Gapps nano included
    • Some apps installed as user.
    • A build,prop.nexus10 in system root if you want to spoof the box
    • TWRP 2.8.7.0
    • kernel compiled with Linaro 4.9
    • Apps included as system Terminal, ESfile esplorer, Petrus Reboot
    • .....





    Install method
    1. Download the zip and place it on ExternalSD/USB disk
    2. Open the Update&backup app, click on the select button under local update tab, choose the zip
    3. Press update

    Download --> www.freak-tab.de/abdul_pt/aml/KII_Valkostur.zip

      Is this ROM compatible with the Broadcom Wireless chipsets? Or only for Atheros?

          Works with ap6330, witch is the one in the KII

              abdul_pt how did you manage to replace the launcher in the rom? i tried to replace the launcher in the stock rom many times and failed.

                  TWRP Recovery For KII by Abdul_PT
                  You Can Extract These Files to the Root of a Micro SD (TF) card And Place it in The TF Card Slot on the KII unit and Power it ON it Will Boot Directly into TWRP it may take a minute, There is no Need to Hold The Reset Button while powering on the KII unit, You Will Also Need to Copy Your Firmware.zip to the SD card

                  I Added This Because i thought it would make it easier for people to install the ROM,

                    You Dont Want To use the Lolipop Version of the original stock firmware i Have Encountered a lot of problems with that firmware on the KII when it comes to the display. Maybe Abdul Could Fix it

                        abdul_pt You Should Resize your boot animation to 1920x1080 the KII Will Support that Resolution and display the Boot Animation Properly and fill the whole screen,
                        Actually I went Ahead and Redid The Boot animation and Made it into 8 parts and Resized it to Take the Full screen of the KII unit.

                        Ive Actually Tested this and it works,

                        Resized and Fixed Boot Animation (boot animation only)

                            Nice firmware!

                            -LED Front lights turned on/red/blue is off
                            -Do not update via OTA Update
