    [ROM] VS/Acemax KII Xsatius Rom

    Hello folks,

    Here's a new rom for the VideoStrong/Acemax KII unit. This is Android 4.4.2 and i kanged some things from other rom's that i tough would be useful. I find that this unit is now more useful than it ever was.


    Let's get down to the description.
    • Included TWRP 3.0.2
    • Kernel updated to 3.10.101
    • I number of gamepads support is included, even Xbox One
    • Using Minix Launcher with a little theming
    • All Google framework updated, using Open Gapps nano
    • Rooted with SuperSU
    • Bash environment in shell
    • Nano text editor in shell
    • ADB is active over Ethernet and is root
    • Samba Server in MboxSettings
    • Fake Ethernet as WiFi in MboxSettings
    • Working Power Menu with Power Off, reboot and reboot to recovery
    • USB Audio Support in MboxSettings
    • Auto Hide status bar, swipe to show
    • Volume buttons in Status bar
    • OTA updates. Open settings and enable download throw WiFi/Mobile
    • init.d support
    • Increase TCP buffers
    • CM Filemanager. Press left bottom button wheel and enable root access
    • .....

    The zip will wipe all data and there's no preinstall app's. I hope you enjoy it and let me ear you feedback.

    Install
    • Download and untar to the root of your External SDcard or USB Storage
    • Place it on the KII and reboot, TWRP should show up
    • Select the zip and flash.
    • Enjoy

        Looking good that the KII is getting some attention

        Quick questions

        Why 4.4.2 and not the newest version from Acemax?

        Will this fix the problems with true 24p playback?

          A 5.1 rom is on the making

          And what problem is that ? Can give examples ?

            I installed this rom for my M8S android box but now I can not boot to recovery, please help.

              Does this work on the KII with rtk 8192du wifi chipset (V1) of KII box, can't get original firmware and been flashed with the ap6330 f/w from acemax so no wifi or very poor wifi?
