Minix Neo X8-H PLUS Stock 11/24 ROM in flashable ZIP format - FIXED!

OK so what did you change to stop the problem? I don't have this problem but I also don't have the recovery that came on my box anymore since it's been reflashed.

I had the same problem with the stock firmware, could
not get the recovery menu. I upgrade the firmvare with
Aml burner tool (minix original firmware) and the
recovery is back.

sorted, flashed the upgrade official firmware with usb burning tool and recovery is back.

So it appears that the box is coming with a bad recovery in NAND memory. If you put recovery.img on SDcard then the box will boot recovery from SDcard. This is maybe why I did not see a problem as I usually put recovery on SDcard.

Finless X8-h Plus Rom

Almost done with my first ROM for the Plus. Will be the same as my 2.0 ROM for the X8 but with other cool stuff

I may finish tomorrow.

I received my X8-H Plus Today waiting for your ROM will try some H265 videos with it and see if AC3 will work with my amp.

Can you give some word about that "Cool Stuff"

Got mine yesterday!

Cool enough little box but I'm not enjoying the minix launcher. I prefer the one you had in the 1.8 Finless Rom for the Eny M8. Cant wait til there's a Finless Rom to install on the Minix! Thanks!

I just got this box, but haven't hooked it up yet (been ill). Looking forward to your ROM though, still running your 2.0 ROM on my old stick (MK809II), it's slow but reliable.
This X8-H Plus was an impulse buy to give me something new to play with.

same here black screen but after 2 min restart itself and I have the new update installed ??hmm weird,another weird fact my satellite receiver box remote interfere with the minix box it turn off the box every time when I use the select button on the sat remote

Recovery your box with Lifeforce's rooted ROM (XBMC Edition, but I'm using with Nova Launcher).

Installing Lifeforce's rom worked fine but recovery was still broken. I flashed the Minix stockfirmware with the USB_Burning_tool. Everything okay now.
