Dell ST2220t Touchscreen on Minix X8-H PLUS (SOLVE!)

Hi There,

I have read a lot of posts and sites to night, but i can't find a how to or an hint how to enable the touch function on my Dell ST2220t.

I have a Minix X8-H PLUS, it's rootet and the Finless ROM 003 was installed.
My Touch Screen i like to use is a Dell ST2220t usb ID ifd2:0064.

I have create a idc file in /system/usr/idc/Vendor_1fd2_Product_0064.idc
# chmod 644 Vend....
# cat Vendor_1fd2_Product_0064.idc

touch.deviceType = touchScreen
touch.orientationAware = 1
device.internal = 1


keyboard.layout = qwerty
keyboard.characterMap = qwerty2
keyboard.orientationAware = 1
keyboard.builtIn = 1cursor.mode = navigation
cursor.orientationAware = 1

But there will not help to enable the touch function :-(

I think i need to compile a hid-multitouch.ko for the Finless 003???

Maybe some one can give some tips or tricks to enable my touch screen :-)

But now my next question is, how i can compile the Finless 003 self?

Where is the source for x8-h plus 003? It's open or i need to compile a stock kernel ?

Yes, but you need the Kernel Sources from Minix.

Yes the sources, but i think it's not open for x8-H Plus. But when i read this site:

The Kernel 3.10.33 is based on Linaro Stable Kernel tree.

I think i can compile the hid-multitouch.ko modules with the Linaro sources and import it to my system?

Update

Short update,


I have found the kernel sources for X8-H Plus :-)

Now i install Virtual Ubuntu, install all the deps. download the X8-H Plus sources and make a test compile of the kernel and modules. The compiling works without any errors.

For the test i copy after the make any sound module .ko to my X8-h Plus and insmode the module.
The module load successfully without any errors :-) The remove of the modules works also without any problems.

Now i can go ahead with my HID-Multitouch driver!

SOLVED !

Compile hid-multitouch.ko insmode and works!!

When i have time i write a small howto to compile modules and multitouch support for the X8-H Plus
An youtube video will follow.

Why you can't compile the kernel ?
Do you have the sources ? Would you share it please
I have to make it to work otherwise will need to change the android box
