Is there any way to get the Arc beta minix 003 firmware for the x8plus in flashable zip format? I'm getting audio drops and would like to try it but I do not have a windows pc (only mac) to use the USB firmware flash tool...

I cannot keep running around trying to keep up on every box. So if there is some test firmware out there, provide me a direct link and I will see if I can whip up a flashable zip. I have not heard about a ARC beta.

which are not able to switch their audio clock automatically to match the video output,
the patch in this firmware is to force the audio clock to match with the video clock (ARC clock as well).
If you don't have audio drops, you don't have to try this beta, it's exactly the same as fw003 + Feb 7th update, apart from this patch"

I'm connected to a Onkyo TX-NR3008 via HDMI and I'm getting audio drops... More so when you first start a movie/show and if you pause a video for more than a few seconds (drops the audio every 5 seconds or so for about a minute) and it doesn't matter if it is HD (1080p or 720p) or SD content..Comment

Here is the Minix X8-H PLUS 003 ROM with ARC patch in flashable ZIP format.
I provide NO instructions this time in the ZIP file due to time constraints. Use my instructions for flashing 003 flashable ZIP as they are the same.

As ALWAYS....... DO NOT just put this download on the SDcard! Unzip the download and extract the needed files for how you want to flash.
And as ALWAYS I set up this ZIP to erase all data so BACKUP!
