M8 S812 unbrick help pls ?

hi guys
i have an OTT M8 tv box here
on the pcb there is
XT-s812-v10
2015-08-04

im not sure how to unbrick this
i tried flashing the megatron v3 firmware to it
and now its just a black screen on boot up
i cant get into any recovery menu either

any help here greatly appreciated
on the MCU it says
Amlogic S812 quad core

ok heads up guys
my box is in fact an M8S+ or so i think
but only has M8 printed on bottom and top

so i used the amlogic sd formatter and used this image

use the included u-boot.bin image to format the SDcard first or it will not work period (remember this)
once you prep the card
go into the archive what you downloaded and copy all files from there onto the SDcard inc the u-boot.bin file
once ready stick it into the M8 box and hold the RESET pin down. and power up the box
my light went from blue to read after about 8 seconds and if i let go here the box booted up with the previous bricked image (mega tron)
so i reset again and held the RESET button till the android man was on screen
after it rebooted it showed the amlogic boot logo with M8S+ badge
then the screen went to an ANDROID logo, just leave it as its flashing now
after about 7 mins my box said setting up apps to which i took out the SDcard and left it be till it booted into my fresh android OS

job done

couldn't of done it without help from you guys here

hope my post helps others as ive seen you guys all having the same probs

trying this now hope it works. its funny because on startup the screen said s802 amlogic. really an s812. crazy!! I don't know how they flashed s802 firmware on a s812.

what do u mean that is the m8s+
it is printed M8s

how can i know what i have?

I see on the sticker on the PCB that your box is S812 So that would indicate that you have the M8s

I cant tell by looking if its a M8s or a M8s+

M8s is

Ethernet

10/100M

M8s+ is

Ethernet

100/1000M

So if you brought the box as GB lan it should be a M8s+

I don't own ether of them box's so sorry cant help much more

Glad my write up is helping some of you guys
Im just going by what firmware flashed ok and booted up fine, mine was M8S+ firmware lol
I know its S812 as it said on the pcb and on the mcu

Its good stable software too i think

Ps my pic was small cos... Ive no idea lol my original pic was 800kb but when uploaded it turned into a thumbnail ?!

I also have this box. Im currently doing those steps as

Got to the android logo keep loading. I gave it 15mins then unplug and plug it again. The box started and android logo went off very quckly and it said setting up apps.. so i took the sd card out... and the screen went black. Im doing it again and this time i will not take the sd card out. We will see...
Anyway i finally going somewhere with my clone box!

Update:
Android 5.1 has started on my box. The problem i have now is there is no wifi or cable internet .... what to do?

you could try a different firmware mate for your box

ive read lots trying other firmwares

my wifi and Enet was fine

I loaded m8s openelec from just me website works great but the lights are wrong when its on its red when its off its blue otherwise everything works great

sorry meant to add there are plenty of unbrick procedures on this site that should work for you I think just me posted one

had another one in on top it said M8s
so i got an m8s mega tron image
just one on their site
and low n behold BRICK lol

my unbrick here sorted it lol

found this firmware today https://yadi.sk/d/O9-g6-M3mKyZE it works great on the XT-s812-v10 wifi and Ethernet work great so far only issue is instead of blue light when its on its got a red light
