Hello, Welcome to Freaktab.
I don't own this box. I cannot make a recommendation on this device or others. However, more storage is always desirable, sometimes a better WiFi module will come with the larger storage too.

I have a Vega S95(AML S905), the Meta version(2GB/8GB), that I run the S95 Vega Telos(2GB/16GB) on. They have different WiFi modules, so while the Telos firmware runs fine on the Meta, I don't have working WiFi or BT. Whether swapping out different F/W on this specific device, will work or not, is not know to me.
Trying this sort of thing is always at the risk of the device's owner(user).

the important thing for me is that it doesn't do a brick of it , I can always go back and install the original software

I ran into major problems with a batch of these MXIII-G 2GB/16GB boxes. Short story: they had new firmware which didn't allow any other firmware updates and bricked when you tried to downgrade the Android version.

Hello sorry for hijacking the post, but I am really lost about models, I have read a lot but I am a little bit confused. I would like to know which of this three devices has the possibility for future firmware updates with Openelec or to know which ones have the best support from the community. I have read a lot from Tronsmart, but the other two I do not know very much.

I really don´t know who manufactures the second box, I am quite lost with all the alternatives around.

I would like to know which one is the best bang for the buck, but without risking no future support.
