Mini MX - OpenElec - can't play file

    Hi,

i have al ittle problem.. few of my files are not working. For example i have a concert, recorded on DVB, onto two channel. This is the same concert, but recorded long time ago in 720 and new one in 1080.
But the 1080 ts file is not playing well..stuttering... and the 720 ts file play fine.
I understand the 1080 requires more power than the 720...but this should not be a problem for this box !!!
Execpt resolution the only difference i see is in the scan type :

    1080 file
    Scan type : MBAFF
Scan type, store method : Separated fields
Scan order : Top Field First

    720 file
    Scan type : Progressive

Is there any chance to modify this without reencoding the whole file ? Is it the problem ? I'm recording few file from DVB and can't reencode ll of them...
Or is it the sound which is a problem ?

Thank you bby advance for any clue

The problem is that there is no HW decoding, The box has enough horsepower to do 720p in sw but not 1080p... for HW decoding keep box with android. why would you install openelec ? kodi works like a charm on android

      Hello slowmo,

thank you for your answer. Actually, i need openelec cause audio throughput is not working with Android via SPDIF. And with Openelec, it actually works like a charm. I'm damned with this box...
I'm surprised too because it plays bigger files in 1080p but just not .ts ones.. more mkv one. Dans i didn't see any problem. I'll check again. But i'm really unhappy with this. All i want is DTS/AC3 bypass through SPDIF with this box.
The only way i had before Openelec was MXplayer, but the problme is that MXPlayer does not handle library and can not play files from network. So added Totalcommander with lan plug-in.. but it is not really handy... not like Kodi. And whatever i tried, SPMC,VIdon, or any other fork ws not working with audio bypass (and i'm not talking about HD audio..just a simple 5.1 AC3 or DTS...)..

Ok i checked the cpu via the kodi info when playing the file. I'm surprised as the cpu's are all jnder 20%... Sometimes one or two cores are reaching 30%... So the cpu's are really not overused. I'm quite it comes from the file itself...

          Hi,

no one has got an idea ?
I'm quite sure it comes from a setting in the file, and not a lack of power from the box... i've played other 1080p files smoothly...just cant' figure out the difference in the file encoding setting.
