OK, i tried that custom firmware for Mxq pro+.

    Its working.
    - Google Play store works
    - Kodi works
    - installed top and bottom bars
    - pink screen (on old philips tv) is fixed, but you must enable it in settings "force RGB" (update still not working)
    - WI-FI NOT WORKING
    - Ethernet working
    - Multitasking works
    - CPU efficiency in kodi is improved

    Overall much much better firmware.

Hi. Could someone provide instructions or share a link that shows how to root this box? This is the only box I bought that isn't already pre-rooted. Much appreciate it!

    Just to inform you.

Good news for owners MXQ Pro + 2GB RAM 16GB ROM, WiFi 6330 module. Some Russian dudes on 4pda managed to compile firmware from Tronsmart Vega S95Meta.
Look at the bottom of the page.
    http://4pda.ru/forum/index.php?showtopic=723156&st=1860 (and use google translate).

I havent tried it myself, probably will tomorrow.

    Unfortunately non of them worked.
Also market helper did not work.

I will continue looking for a solution.
I have solved this problem for me. I install "aptoidemarket.apk" (https://www.aptoide.com/). Then I run this application and I can install "WIFI speed test", which was "non compatible" for MXQ PRO+.

No you dont a usb cable

    Use
adb connect IP (ex. adb connect 192.168.10.32)

The reboots might be from the overheating. Mine doesnt reboot (until now at least)

After i installed Kodi 16.1, i used this fix
    http://freaktab.com/forum/tv-player-...-kodi-16-beta4

    and kodi works very good.
    (maybe you dont need openelec)

Also from Kodi forum iread that KOdi 15.1 works without any modification.Something changed after 15.2
    (old version http://mirrors.kodi.tv/releases/andr...rmeabi-v7a.apk)
