Available roms for Sunvell T95M ?

    Hello,

I took out my TV box that was released at the time in Android 5.1 and I would like to be able to upgrade it to Android 6 / 7 minimum.
The model of this tv box is a T95M 4K

    Any suggestion ?

    Thanks in advance

Do you see any roms on Android 6.0 (as the links about the modified UGOOS AM 1.1.1 are dead) ?
      T95m-2G-8723-160516 is for Android 5.1

Hi , do you know if your box is the s905 or the s905x edition ?

It is the S905 edition. Three hints for that :
          - The serial ends by "2G"
          - The box came with Android 5.1 ("Please note that currently most S905 TV boxes run Android 5.1, while Amlogic S905X devices are already running Android 6.0" - source)
          - S905x was out after I bought this box

Couldn't find that rom but i see the ugoos am1 firmware android 6 has been ported to other boards https://forum.freaktab.com/forum/tv-...200_2g-devices . You might want to try make your own rom using it as a base if your board is a p200 . Only other s905 box with higher version appears to be the alfawise a9 which runs oreo again it might be worth trying to make your own rom to test . Good luck

I finally found this rom here : https://ugoos.com/s905-marsmallow-up...ugoos-settings
I tried Amlogic USB Burning Tool but it cannot detect my device, connected by a OTG cable (I have the blue light on this device that tell me it is one)
So any ideas how I can convert this img file into a ota zip file ?

Did you use toothpick method to connect the box ?

On this device, there is no clear "reset" hole for that (I tried in the AV Port without success)
I think I should build a port of a ROM at the end : time to find out which one could be compatible.
Before that, I must backup fully (except my own data) without TWRP : I wonder if there is a way to create own img (or ota zip) from a live system...

FYI: Luckily, It seems that this device was already rooted at the factory
