NEW - Finless 2.0 - Tronsmart S95 Telos

OK folks... Time to bring this box some life back a little....
Did I ever say how much I hate working on this box? Sheesh...

Anyway here is a new ROM based on the last ROM Tronsmart released for the Telos last year.

It's basically got all the things my 1.0 ROM has but now applied to Tronsmarts latest ROM.

Sorry NO UPDATE ZIP this time. I just do not have timne to make one.
Thus you use the flash tool and cable to flash this.

Hello guys. What is the advantage of this ROM compared to the original ROM?

Finless hey Mr.B... this Will Not run on beelink m18/mx64, will it?
I REALLY enjoyed the build you constructed for that device. After much use I did have to reflash (sd), and inadvertently chose wrong version...losing box to my skill level.
I may yet revive it, but cant remember if I should have been on Meta, or Pro.
Do you recall enough to refresh my understanding ?
btw...you cook really great Rom. Thnx!

Hi,

When I like to upgrade from Finless 1.0 to Finless 2.0 I receive error:

E: footer is wrong E: signature verification failed

I repeat the same procedure like Finless 1.0 I putt zip file on the root of SD cart.

Any idea?

hey bro, I ran one of Bob's ROMs on my M18, as noted a couple of post Above This. During a reflash I selected the wrong one, AKA a brick.
thought I would holler and see if you had an M18 back in the day, and which ROM I should be looking for ... Telos, Vega, Pro, meta?
sure can't remember which one, and can't seem to find it. I want to gift it to my son and his Dev friend, but I got to get him the files too. Any thoughts

RISCy Dude from the given (you didn't run 1, I guess?) it'd have to be the 2/16 Telos.
Mind you it was Fbob's port to the Beelink M18 Fron a Tronsmart rom. My search intuition/ instruction suks, I guess.
I think ap6335 is acurate I'm trying to find that spec now....That would probably be the Most determining factor, ya think?

I never had an M18. I have the S95 Meta(Thanks to my TV box benefactor). I think I recall running the Telos ROMs on the Meta, albeit with caveats. ROMs used for 2GB RAM model S95s(Meta, Telos) were not compatible on the S95 Pro and visa versa.
Stick with one of the 2GB ROMs(assumes the M18 is 2GB RAM).
If all else fails, balbes150's stuff should work on it, like Armbian or LibreELEC.

I also recall(?) that Ugoos AM1(Same PCB as S95 2GB models)) firmware would run on the Meta, but without WiFi. The Telos and the AM1 share PCBs and WiFi modules(?), so think it all worked with AM1 F/W on Telos except Ugoos lacked Telos' SATA feature. Whether or not it will work on the M18 is not known to me.
AM1 Info and F/W can be found here.
The AM1 Update file I have here is for the USB Burning Tool, tool is included in the update package. Ugoos has OTA versions too, but IMO using the USB Burning Tool might be your best bet.

As you already know or may have heard, flashing any ROM is done at the flasher's risk and responsibility. I can't be held responsible, it doesn't matter what I may or may not have signed, I have absolute immunity. Otherwise, have fun.
