Image uploading here sucks (tiny thumbnail) . But I see what you mean.

      What version did you flash?

The latest version is this one: http://freaktab.com/forum/tv-player-...113#post602113

OK. That is a test image. Look like there are bugs with it.

This version is stable but missing a few features. Mainly h264 4K, but HEVC is fully working.

          LibreELEC-S905.aarch64-7.0.2.007.zip

You need to unzip and flash the LibreELEC-S905.aarch64-7.0.2.007-update.zip

Just to make sure there isn't anything else that maybe messing up the install. Restore the original firmware first: http://www.tvboxnews.com/nexbox-a95x...ware-download/

Than flash the LibreELEC-S905.aarch64-7.0.2.007-update.zip with TWRP.

That build does work with your box: http://freaktab.com/forum/tv-player-...054#post602054

Didn't work on my TX5 Pro, even after flashing stock firmware.

All that happens on boot is that you get the S905X logo and nothing more.

Had a guy on another forum that had the same issue. He had to format his data partition.

                      Thanks for the link.

Taking the SD card out and attempting to boot into recovery from the stock ROM doesn't work either, so maybe an issue with recovery in stock.

                      Will try another firmware.

Anybody got a link to the Nexbox A5 stock?

I am running this on the Nexbox A5 16GB version.

I used this firmware and had no issues: https://mega.nz/#F!QtozVLyB!kZ-PB9VtLn-RUY1rJGZExQ

It is for the YUNDOO-Y6 32GB version but it worked fine on the Nexbox A5 2/16.

                        EDIT#

Anyway, this is where I get my firmware from: http://www.tvboxnews.com/category/firmware/

For the Tanix TX5 Pro you can get it from here: http://www.tvboxnews.com/android-mar...-box-download/

                          Cheers.

Sadly that did not work either.

It will not boot to TWRP from the SD Card and have tried 4 different cards now too.

Stupid question but did you rename it?? Also make sure there is nothing on the SD card. Just the recovery.img. It did take me a few goes. Also try putting in a USB flash drive that has an activity indicator light. If it flashes while holding the reset button while powering on. It means it should be able to boot the recovery from the SD card. If it doesn't flash then it won't boot from it.

Not sure if it matters. But I used a 16GB card. 16GB and under should work fine. 16GB and over can be a bit of a nightmare. Some old card readers can't read cards larger then 16GB.

                              Yes I renamed it.

Did the USB flash drive thing too, which flashed and nothing else on the SD cards (FAT32 formatted), so no idea what the problem is but will give it a miss for now until somebody else gets it working on the TX7 Pro.

Sounds like it is an issue with the recovery. Is there a TWRP for the TX5 Pro you know of? Once you get TWRP installed flashing LibreELEC is a piece of cake.

This guy got TWRP onto the TX5 Pro. Its the same one I linked to.

Also never tried. But have you tried putting TWRP onto the USB Flash Drive? No clue if it will work, but no harm in trying.
