If they drop the price about $20 USD, I will jump on it. Right now, it is about $15 USD more than the equivalent Xiaomi MiBox.

Nuther question, does it support HDCP 2.x, so Netflix can play in 4K, like the Xiaomi???

Dang, if they had packaged all that into an Amlogic S912 package, it would be a no brainer for me. Mecool/Videostrong, keeps moving the bar higher and higher. The other manufactures are severely lacking and their boxes are around the same price point or MORE. Kudos to Mecool and Videostrong.....

so you are going to test one, nice... I saw this box a week ago in videosttrong site, but though it was for OTT/IPTV, its really nice to see its coming to the end user.
Could you please check if Amazon Prime Video works (not just the trailers)?, since it claims to have Playready licenses
Also if DD+ from Netflix is sent correctly to regular DD?, since it also claims to have that license (and the Mi Box just botched that with the update)
That would make a really good AndroidTV box
                  Thanks in advance
                  Best regards

I could not help myself, had to see if it supported HDCP 2.x. So I ordered one.

The Word from those that should know is: yes, fully certified, and support HDCP,but not netflix.

Oh I will, I will! It does, however, seemed awful strange when all their other boxes support Netflix in 1080p.

No netflix? that seems strange, having widevine L1 as supported on the publicity image besides Playready, maybe its just not installed by default

That sounds more like it, I've seen cases where netflix gets 4K but not HDR because it cant determine full HDCP 2.2, so maybe its something like that

                        I am advised

                        1- Support Youtube 4K
2- Support Netflix The 4K certificate will come down after three months and will update in the box, now this box support Netflix 1080 or 720

Keep it to yourselves now and don't go blabbing
