I tried to burn Aidan's ROM on my TX3 Mini, but instead bricked it. Maybe because I was using the S905W version. After bricking it there was nothing on HDMI and only "boot" was showing up on the front screen. I tried to go to the Recovery Mode and tried to burn new firmware by "Burn Card Maker", but nothing worked. It wasn't even showing up on the "USB Burning Tool". When I saw it had S905X I tried ROM's for that too but they didn't work either. What worked was the official firmware provided by Tanix, I downloaded "TANIX TX3 MINI 20171220" LINK . But before that I had to short the NAND pins. I followed THIS video. My pins were different. See the images below. Hope this helps someone who needs it.
Cons:
#1 = Wifi doesn't work. My Tv Box uses 9012P wifi chip, I guess the official firmware doesn't like that.
#2 = Android version is 7.1.2
#3 = Board Ver. CS_905W_TX_2C_N_V1.6
#4 = Front display doesn't work
Pros:
Although my android version got downgraded and wifi doesn't work but now it doesn't get much hot now. With the firmware it came with the box would get quite hot even on idle. Now, idle temp is normal and it only gets a little warm while watching Live Tv. If someone has a better firmware that would work, please let me know. Thanks.
