Lets have a bit of a look at the UI and some performance test and information
This is not a powerhouse unit and more suited to TV Broadcast etc.

Standard MECOOL UI and much the same as other K TV/DTV products
Running Android 7 option to enable lower taskbar and at this stage no ROOT
Tv Centre is a version of Kodi used by Mecool and do as you please.
DTV app is the for Tuning, Recording, TV and other modes that are available with using this Unit.

Tuning is same as most of the MECOOL K series TV boxes
Ran up the DTV app select Auto scan Hmm nothing...Ok help if we plug the TV antenna in first
And Second need to set the Media Player up to Australia found in DTV Preference



Scanned and all channels found easy.
100% Sig and Quality, using Log periodic type antenna about 30k from the TV towers (bit of wet string would prolly do)




Picture Quality looks ok
Time between channel change 2~3 second failry quick
EPG looks ok easy to read, other functions to set up PVR Time Record, Channel Sort, Favorites, Parental Control
Easy as.
I find the Remote is Designed more for the TV/Sat function of the box than Normal Android.
I normally use the k400 logitech with android it not a problem here, other may find it a problem.

There is a little about the TV function easy as really if you have a spare PC monitor

Tested for a few hours.
HD Sync was Good, as it tended to give the most trouble here
I did see some screen tearing when OSK would be used.

Also these extra apps running for what ever reason. ?

Unfortunately Netflix only starts with a black screen.
