My tv box arrived today and I immediately noticed that no weight as before, no heatsink and wi fi is bad.

So someone has to pull the bootloader.partition with adb, so we can make flashable roms for our devices.

Here are howto's of dumping partitions:
      https://forum.xda-developers.com/sho....php?t=2450045
      https://www.xda-developers.com/how-t...boot-commands/

It would be awesome if someone on original image could do that.

Click image for larger version Name:	Screenshot_1.png Views:	1 Size:	41.0 KB ID:	660483 Sucessfully revived one of my 2 dead boxes (the other one will have to wait), using the shorting pin method and flashing the rom posted above.

BTW, the usb port to use to connect to the pc, in this new board, is NOT the one close to the hdmi port. It´s the one close to the sd card.

Gonna try to install, xannytech rom again now.

        EDIT: No good, flashing aborts.

EDIT2: 2 boxes revived. working with the rom previously posted. Only power button doesnt work, to turno ON the box.

For PowerButton you need to dumb the bootloader.partition, but unfortunately you need to solder a serial connection first.

yeah, way out of my league. And it´s not that important.

Now, i have a new box with this new hardware and software. I took a quick look at xda tutorials you posted and looks complicated.

But i'll give it a try.

I modified this ROM from here http://freaktab.com/forum/tv-player-...rom-android-tv

Access Google Drive with a Google account (for personal use) or Google Workspace account (for business use).

but keep in mind, that you can not awake device after shutdown or hibernate with mini m8s remote.
Just dumb question, is this firmware rooted? Just so I know if I can install supersu and adaway et al. I have 2 of the M8S II Mini's coming and I am scared they might be these clones and not originals.

Hi guys. I'm in one boat with you. Bought the same fake mini m8s II on Gearbest and briked it via SD flashing. Fortunately, i revived it with pin method and flashing Nexus Player Rom listed here https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B2...XctSmN3Y01XQ2s
                Thanks for that, KyleRiemen
But unfortunately, i do not like Android TV. Stock Android is more usefull for me. Is it possible to adapt android rome (like stock 100M0) for our device? Or may be you know where can i get stock rom?

Tanix and xanny roms should work just copy your remote config to usb before trying. Then install to same spot when finished remote will still work then. System/ect
Many devices now mk902ii/Shield/Mk68 /Ugoos/neox5/minix5 (yes they still work lol) mk80 no it doesnt work lol.

You mean stock roms? Just tried Tanix TX5 stock rom and have no luck. Downloading Tanix TX3 Pro rom, will try.
I think the nearest relative of our box is Beelink Mini MXIII II. Even the roms of Beelink are named the same as our 104M0 etc.
Tried to flash MINIMXIII-II_109M0.img Flashed successfully but got brick again

Here is the MINIMXIII-II-112 image with a95x bootloader.partition and ddr.usb, for those not liking the NexusTV Mod. (Wake-Up after shutdown not working)

                            Just now tested both roms.
                            First - 112_with_109_bootloader_ddr.img - not flashable. [0x00101004] Erase bootloader/Lowper/Identify/Error result
I remembered, i flashed MINIMXIII-II_109M0.img with not selected "Erase bootloader" in USB BT.
Second - 112_with_a95x_bootloader_ddr.img - flashed without problems. For the first sight, rom is great (didn't test it for a long time) but unfortunately wake up not working, as you said

So, if no any solution to fix wake-up funktion, second rom will be the best choice for me. Thanks, KyleRiemen for you job!

So, guys! I have great news for the bricked box (MINI M8S II Clone) owners
I contacted the manufacturer of the box - Netxeon, and received firmware from the first hand. Will not tell you how i downloaded it from Baidu cloud, but it was very difficult and very long .
Just flashed it on my box and it works!

                                https://mega.nz/#!aQA0gYbS!XyAmmTX9J...ncSAO1xslMAZik

P.S. Firmware updating stopped with error. Then i pulled out the USB cable and put it back. After that everything was fine.
