I would also like to know if this is available. I've been trying to find anything that will work and has functional bluetooth.

If a TVStock rom hasn't been made yet, can someone give me some direction in how to make one?

Is there a way to root the un-rooted version? Or is there no difference between build in the OP (application-wise), thus one can take the rooted one. I have successfully flashed the non-rooted version and I'd like to root my box.
            Thanks!

Solution: Check motherboard by android system info. Compare model board with img file(some people add it to img name). This error mean that you img is not for your board(board is more important then device model). Manufacter build the same model with different motherboard. Problem isn't related with cabel or usb_burnning_tool verison.

Guest : since you mentioned shiningworth I would like to ask wether you know the CQ II box S905X based 1/8. I tried several custom roms but remote does either work partially without ability to power on/off OR does not work at all. Could you advise how to solve this?

We never really got a multi-ROM for S905X (p212) from Shiningworth, unfortunately. It was in development, though, and maybe superceleron can point us to an OEM release.

That said, there are Android 8.0 beta releases for p212 and the Amlogic 9.0 SDK supports it. My understanding is that the 9.0 SDK is 99% final.

Sorry mate i cant really tell you of a more OEM, since the development on 7.1 stopped!
About 8.0... forget it is dead!
So best bet now is 8.1, and yes 9 is 99% there

                            Thanks, Luis!

soldiaz, if you want to experiment with OREO 8.0, here's the link: https://forum.freaktab.com/forum/tv-...ing-needed-wip

Otherwise, we just need to be patient. At least the S905X is supported in the Amlogic SDK 9.0, unlike the S912. I'm surprised it wasn't supported in the Amlogic SDK 8.1, though.

Actually I bought really cheap s905x instead of s905w due to Android 8/9support.

I am not a coder/Developer. I am facing issues with stock remote which does not work with several custom Roms. E.g. my box boots up nexbox a95x, atvx and several other but remote's on/?ff Button does not work....since atvx is based ?ff tanix I thought bout replacement Remote...and Change remotes
