    [ROM] POISONATV S905X NEW V4 [20190317] *UPDATED NEW VERSION 4.2*


    POISONATV

    Here we go with a new Version of the PoisonATV Firmware.
    We are supporting S905X, S905W, and S912.
    This Thread is about the S905X Version and only this Version will be supported in this Thread.

    CHANGELOG

    -Based on Tanix Firmware
    -Root access (on or off)
    -Removed more settings (Useless for AndroidTV)
    -Twrp recovery added
    -AppDrawer (modded for poisonatv but created by Carmine from atvx)
    -Airscreen added (Google Cast Alternative)
    -Init.d Tweaks to supercharge you AndroidTV
    -Custom Theme (Purple Theme made by minixfreak ) Higher DPI icons
    -Auto framerate added (Level1 or 2)
    -Xbox/Ps controller support added
    -Gamepad support added
    -Broadcom external Bluetooth support added
    -Google DNS
    -Uses a95x bootloader (Compatible with all boxes)
    -Force GPU rendering

    Fixes
    -Lowered boot video volume
    -fixed wifi dropouts
    -fixed Playstore issues
    -corrected permissions and codecs
    -Fixed Openmax driver

    Poison is a community project that aims at giving users the best Android TV experience possible.
    Currently, we only support AMLogic based devices but we are working on branching to other chipsets.

    Hi, thanks for your work and the new update.

    It all works very well....except for the Power button.

    On selecting Shutdown... it switches off...but reboots again.

    If you select "Sleep" mode it does switch off ok...but on power up, it does a restart (reboots) rather tha a wake up from sleep.

    In my last post I mentioned that I tried what I thought was VER 4....and the power button worked ok.

      Seems quick and smooth but remote wont power on box.

        I used a95x bootloader ..but will make patch to use regular bootloader

          Hello all, do someone know if ther is a zip file to update from v3 to v4 using TWRP ?

                in the change log, it shows this >> "-Auto framerate added (Level1 or 2)". I think it means that if I play a movie, that is made in 24 FPS, my TV will show 24 FPS. But it does not happen, my TV still shows 60 FPS. Can you explain how it works........ Thanks

                  Level2 is application controlled n lv1 is system controlled ... lv1 is the best way

                        May I ask how you added
                        Broadcom external Bluetooth support
                        Is this one supported: CSR8510 A10 (Qualcomm) ? According to amazon this chip uses broadcom drivers as well...

                          same here. other than that all working perfectly. think this is going to be my daily driver.

                          edit: i take that back. struggling to play MKV files in VLC. They skip A LOT.
