Error flashing using SD Card or USB drive

Hi,

Totally new, but trying to learn. I don't have a USB male to male, so tried to use Burn Card Maker V.2.0.3 using the instructions I've found on the web and the Android 9 img from Sagert's post. However, when I boot to the recovery menu (pressing the little button on the box) and apply the update it just displays lines of "E:Failed to mount /dev/block....." and finally shows "E:failed to mount /sdcard(No such file of directory).

I zipped up the the img file and put it on a usb drive and tried to update from udisk and get the followimg errors:
e: Cannot load volume /misc!
e: footer is wrong
e: signing verification wrong
installation aborted
e: cannot load volumer /misc!

Any ideas????

Hi ,

this Recovery does not support flashing .zip ,

you must use PC , buy a A&A Cable , not so expensive , or ask a Friend ,

if you need help with flashing , there are several Guides to learn here and an YT too ,

better first to learn what to do ,
