Yes, for WiFi and Bluetooth you need drivers from this box.
        Try it.

It worked for me, as well as others. You say other H96 firmwares have no wifi too... I wonder if yours is an 'oddball' box and it has a different wifi chip.

Where did you buy it from? Is it a 4GB model with DDR4?

The only people that I've seen having issues flashing H96 firmwares, are people with DDR3 boxes. These boxes are supposed to have DDR4, so I wonder if it there's some knockoffs or something.

I use this firmware on H96 max x2. This is the best firmware. Installed on more H96 and yet everything was ok. Is it planned android 9? Because I saw that beelink released android 9.

You can try this one. The native remote control and possibly wi-fi will not work.

                        Hello,

Does this version make my h96 start apps in “tv mode”? instead of “tablet mode”?

                          tested on T95Q:
                          - wifi working
                          - no wired connexion
                          - the usb3.0 port is not stable when a usb3.0 is connected (the wireless remote, on the other usb2.0 port, stop working)
                          - it's all russian, can you do an english ?
                          - bluetooth stop working on login.
                          - not very stable, some apps freeze the box on some situations.

also, the original remote control is not 100% working, some keys work, some don't, and some do other things than expected (for example, the app and down arrow now controle the volume)
