As seen above simple clean cut unit, and performance to match most 905x2 devices:
Got that Groovy style of WiFi Antenna and working Ok here:
Weight Block Heat Sink, So far the 905x2 appears to be one Cool Unit.

As usual startup easy, Power, bit of a Win10 Style of startup:
      Clean looking UI, not ATV.
WiFi and setup Google also good and easy, installed testing apps and ready to rumble.
The S95 Android 8.1 TV Box - BLACK 4GB RAM+32GB Has Root access and Upper and lower Bars.
Like Previous tested 905x2 performance appears much the same, running Android 8.1
The remote works ok, but I am really over this particular model, hope they will run out one day.

Settings much the same, nothing found out of Ordinary found yet, Early days.

      Let's have a look see:

UI: - Installed Apps and System Information

      Root Access:

      DRM: L3

      CPU-Z:

      SD Card Test:

      Antutu: .Gif

Interesting hardware potent, but relative cheap device.
Sorry to see only L3 Widevine CDM security level.
Does that mean, that all media streaming services (including YouTube) are condemned to sub-HD resolution ?
In that case, device is worthless for the majority of consumers.

I would not say worthless, no way
Yes some streaming services may be limited HD only or below
Just about most box's from the land of the Great Wall that are not fully certified may or will have this problem.
There are workarounds to be found to get HD on some Media players. need to do some reading

To Stream HD and above the idea would be to have a certified box, eg only Shield, Mi Box Amazon stick ETC.

The above S95 or others that can found can be good for everything else, it just depends on the needs of the user.

You can always use the free YouTube alternative APK named Newpipe to stream higher resolution than the 1080p YouTube imposed limit. Plus Newpipe strips out the embedded YouTube ads.

Custom rom available by SC for the S95 and works well, including the remote or 99% of it

Ran it for most of yesterday and working working very smoothly

              Check it out here

As always i like to give thanks my beta tester trebor , and also Beelink and gearbest for the hw to test on! I know i have been very quiet this days ( weeks, months ), to explain a bit why, i now work for a company that does android boxes ( not for public use for telecoms/isp's etc.. ) well cant call it android boxes since...
