marine_tugah use Ath156 rom; you dont even need to short pin it. just use usb tools 2.1.7 and that rom; and all worked

tested on bricked dead H9X3 4/64
fw H9X3_4_64_800M_20200610_1308
B.tool v2.2.0

Method:
1. open tool import image
2. uncheck erase bootloader
3. click START
4. Short the two gold point
5. Connect USB Kabel to PC. Wait until the computer recognize the box
6. Remove shortcut
4. Flash enjoy

i have tried your method; now my device does not start at all. black screen. usb tools stops at 7 diskinitial error. i have tried different rom; different PC; no chance

i have used the same rom on 3 devices H9, 1 is worked and 2 others stops at 7% diskinitial error. Any help?
Usbtools 2.2 and 2.1.7 , 2.1.9 not worked

Pin 7&8 , i think , but only if your Nand has this soldered Pins , Pictures of PCB , both sides would be good ,
