H96 Max X3: Can't find any firmware that suits.

I browsed for hours and can't find any firmware that works for my H96 Max X3.
The Generic SuperCeleron Roms do not work because the box hasn't got DDR4 ram.
That left me with the choice of HK1/Vontar firmware. I found some links to them but I cannot find any license files for USB Burning tool.

So I am at a dead end trying to upgrade this box.
I need a stock Android experience, not ATV. Because of the peculiar use of the box, it is inside an Android Pinball/Arcade cabinet, I need the ability to use navigation buttons and a pull down task/notification bar, which the typical TV boxes don't seem to offer any more these days.

So if anyone has some ideas to get "normal" Android on this thing in some way, I would be quite happy.
The box is useless to me at the moment.

Are you sure that the Slimbox X3 will work? My box is H96 Max X3 and not X96 Max. They are quite different, am I wrong?

Also, the link to the license files is for S905 X2, not S905 X3....
