Any rom for this box?

I'm getting juddering on standard def mpeg video material on my x96 max plus box. On my other amlogic box a alfwawise h96 Pro plus, it's running super celeron full rim, with coreelec.

That box plays mpeg fine in Kodi/android and corelac.

I was hoping that corelac could be run from microsd as, but it's not booting from microsd.

Someone mentioned bootloader could be locked, how to you check for this?

If I install a new room, will it install a new unlocked bootloader? And then can dual boot to coreelac?

Your box is X96 Max Plus2, not to be mistaken with regular plus model.

Answers on your questions (like about CoreElec install), to find firmware in X96 Max Plus2 thread on 4PDA...

Hmm I'll leave it for now until people have had chance to get new rom and coreelac running..guess update of the TV box and Rom so need to leave it
