Well the Price is Hidden with the link you Posted, just and "Arrival Notice" not even a "Pre-Order" sale yet, most likely the shipping dates to vendors hasn't been finalized with all the COVID delays, also since device is so new the Price may fluctuate a bit more before it begins being shipped out.

they are selling their brand,though I know Netflix certification cost some.

Obviously,the community here are more into other options,same chip,but 4G ram,64G rom,customized ROM,etc...

Only thing is that,can some GURU dig into this ESN of netflix.

Some had it copied into the rom before like MS 8 pro?

-On androidpctv.com there is a good review about this stick

I think for 1080p it should do fine...and to take with...on vacation
-it should arrive next week..

Note : the specs say Amlogic S805Y2 with 1 GB of ram ( Not like the first post states S905Y2 with 2GB )

EU has 3 country's at region polen, germany,italy (at first boot )
first boot 3 apps YouTube, google play,netflix after upgrade prime video gets adder
menu button gives..Google play movies, Google music, Google play store, Google play games
YouTube..go on top of video gives you a preview

anyway.. will play with it..some more tomorrow

The Tv stick only has PCM - Dolby - Dolby plus - DTS sound options

I have the Mi connected to the Tv using a Side HDMI port ( because the TV is connected to wall, cannot access back )
The TV is connected to Soundbar... the Bar lights says : Surround - Dolby prologic 2 ( no matter whats played )
- Have not found any DD/DTS content to play - unable to get Cast to work ( soundbar also has a light for Dolby/DTS )
After I boought my soundbar.. my AVR has been collecting dust and is no longer connected to TV

I played... many hours of Youtube ( So, many ads ) Then switched to Smart youtube tv ( installed using Downloader FTVnews )
Then many more hours Netflix.. In stalled Kodi... watched TWitch live stream for about 2h ( RoomTemp between 24 up 30c )
No issues at all... ( with Stats for nerds enabled.. shows little to no frame drops )
Video quality. abit less then Firestick 4K, mostly seen with quick movements on the screen
Voice controle works... even on Dutch
Subtitle on Netflix.. working

Some Nags:
Browsing Google play using text.. It brings Up two different Onscreen Keyb
The Remote Back button.. On the apple tv and firestick the are placed left... but on the Mi the are middle
Sometimes it loses connection to remote...that give a short animation (2s) on tv ( hold 2 button ) even during movie
Unable to uninstall Google play music ( this service will end sept.. I here )

As it stands... Im quite impressed

There are (or will be) 2 versions of Mi TV Stick.

The one specified by the OP will be the 4K version, with S905Y2 SoC and 2 GB RAM.

The one already available is 1080p only, with S805Y and 1 GB RAM.

And none of them shall passthrough HD audio codecs since that is something not implemented by AMLogic starting at Android 8.1 system, but only until Android 8.0.

This applies to all devices with AMLogic chipsets running Android 8.1+.
