Try a different HDMI cable, try a different TV. perhaps a 720 tv (HD) or 1080 Full HD

Not sure why you expect to see something when plugging a usb lead to a computer.

I just tried to use another computer and USB burning tool detects the box.. YAY.
I've tried to burn 2 img to the box but I'm getting [0x10105002]Romcode/Initialize DDR/Read initialize status/USB Control setup error.

Probably those are not the right img for this box. I've attached the picture of the box. This box is rebranded so it only say M9X on the box.

Edit: issue fixed. Turn out, my box has q6330 wifi + bt module. I flashed this firmware to upgrade it to 7.1.2.
