Today we have a few Happy Snaps Of the H96Pro Amlogic 912 this unit is the 2/16gb, curious to how the 3/16 is going to work/differ.

Standard Remote, usual power pack 5vdc @2amps, HDMI cable and Instructions on connections and use of remote.

Remote windows looks the Goods but further down the remote is a bit weak

Dived into this Box no screws underneath, Hmmm, poke around and the Black Glossy Printed Cover peels/lifts.
You then can see there is another Clear plastic Cover with 4 screws to get into the media player.
This would be to help throw the Colours around as you will see further on.


Peel lid carefully if you going to do it, some have mentioned a few models look the same I guess just a different Lid will be printed. "Speculation only"



Here we have the LED show, only two colours Red for OFF, and Blue for ON,
Not extremely bright and the clear cover will throw a tinge of Blue or Red, to the edge
No Flashy or blinky blinky to annoy you

Here we see the 2 Leds covered with heat shrink tube, top left corner
The clear Spaghetti/tube fits into the Black heat shrink and runs around a channel in the Clear Lid
You can see here the Remote Pickup(middle left) is back from Window found remote not to responsive.

Enough Hardware now for what going on with Android,
First Impressions are good like this Media Player, Smooth Interface, Looks like Proper Root, look and feel good
The H96 Pro has TaskBars, many of the newer S912 have dropped/disabled this feature
Found option in TaskBar to turn led off if it become a bother, Small light globe icon.

After testing last night and today pretty smooth box.
Does get a little warm can mod that easy later. Working well, WiFi and Ethernet speeds are ok.
H96 looks ok LEDS not to in your face and can be turned off thru UI

Well i ordered the H96 PRO TV Box Amlogic S912 Octa Core from GEARBEST on the 14/9/2016 & the presale ends on the 20/09/2016 & they still were in stock. now i have been told after i got in contact with them about my order that im not getting it. No explanation nothing. There trying to palm me off with a different box ore a refund. It really annoys me when these china websites do this. I really wanted this box because it had the 3gb of ram. Gutted.

People pay good money for the things you sell & the customer should be informed of any changes strait away, not being told that your not getting your item when you inquire about the order i have placed. You can discuss problems/fix, in any of my threads,

I have noticed of late, most of the time in other threads it ends up being a Reseller whinge session.
If your want the Vendor to notice/assist there is vendors thread and its the best place to post to get their attention/assistance
Let them Know the problem they can get in touch with maker and it goes from there.

I find the best thing when you need to get a Media Player a simple ask in the Vendors Thread can save disappointment.
Have been caught a couple of times

How's the WiFi performance?

H96 Pro Amlogic 912 random Wifi test.
Wifi is good 2.4 or 5ghz an idea of speeds if they help,
I have found that the Barrel type wifi Antenna (above) can perform better than the sticky tape type in past test.



Depending on time of day etc, ethernet, 5GHZ, 2.4 in order
