hvnt tried yet of LibreElec;but I'll try it and need some experience for this app.

Beside "Audio" is not my intereset so all of are OK lol

"SD" video AmLogic really bad! therefore tried "internal player" but its sucks! tried SPMC sucks also

my Panels and BDs far superior if I compare with AMLogic

But "HD" video OK even all devices are OK(I ignore "details" as well) if not ignore BDs still far away superior too!

So those boxes for "other purposes" then if you look from this window those boxes amazing

Cant wait till mine comes the 820 and ddr4 plus the specs made it a sweet deal. Firmware always the bit of sore point because they are always consistent and they on stock it sucks but i am always waiting to be surprised. Lol but nice shinny box

Different you don't add Favorites to lower bar it does a History of them and places them down below

Also has a setup wizard, did not run at start can be done manually usual, Language, region full screen etc also some information about UI and remote.

Installed Apps

Netflix that is Installed is an old version and has been adjusted so it will not update.
S10 also has Root
Running Android 7.1.1, Build q201 20170622 test keys
Also have the friendly Rocket Launcher to clear memory
Using Logitech Keyboard mouse can have some problems not properly detected, if you turn off the virtual OSK you may have some problems.
Remote as good as it looks and feels will also get a bit lost, put that down to early A7 release needing some work.

Update August 2 OTA update has fixed the following Playstore Problem

Tho it should not happen,
It has with this box many apps for testing and games Not compatible, so more work needed in that area me thinks, Just a few of the Many

Many of the Bench tests Apps also not compatible
But what we have we can show...Overall performance is OK, no great speeds,
Ram Speed is so so have seen a lot better as you will see
The rest much the same as other S912 running DDR4

The Remote is OK, a better look and feel than the standard type that have been around, line of site ok at a distance.
But could do with some improvements

No excessive heat problems, but as 3Dmark, Antutu not compatible at present not pushed
No Upper/Lower task bar at present or option to enable.

Those with the 3GB units may a better ram speed....

I left the Hunk of Alloy of the top as I wanted to monitor temps and they are ok...

But also I wanted to see if it would do anything to WIFI signal.
Hmm well it does appear to impact as you will see

Same location about 2 meters from the Router, Lid off, then on and same again
Looks like this one is going to need an outside antenna

They advise Goggle Play problem have been resolved with incompatible apps.

Can you run netflix and youtube in 1080p and 4k? Is it compatible with 5.1 and 7.1 audio dts and dolby?

1080p YT, Netflix No, not able to test 5.1 presently but I think it should.
Still waiting for OTA update to fix current Playstore problems
