    IP address

Can someone please tell me how to change my Ip address I had to reset my X92 box and now it has an ip address that has nothing to do with my network. I have gone to all the settings and it won't let me change it, I even tried going to a static but it doesn't work and also the wifi. I even left the cat5e cable undone and plugged it back in and still got the wrong address.

Have you tried restarting your router and any other relevant networking equipment?

10.x.x.x addresses as opposed to the more normal 192.168.x.x can be seen on some routers.

Netgear I think can sometimes utilise this range.

If you fire up the web browser, does it take you to your routers admin configuration and setup page?

Can other devices connect to your network?

          hmm..
So, you cannot brows the web because of the DNS address?
Try a app called DNS changer ( side load it from USB or something )
          - I mainly use it to block ads.. on my roaming phone/tabled

          or
Manual Change the DNS address on your router ( would suggest a DNS that blocks ads )
          - aka Google : dns that block ads (there are so many )

          Goodluck
