I connected this port closest to power with usb cable to my pc. Normally on smartphones and tablets with androi i used to use fastboot. When i make fastboot devices should appear some numbers and device, but here nothing happen, no information.
also i saw in a youtube review (dont remember which) that they said the usb ota port is one of the hidden ports. But ok, you tried it alredy and worked with this port.
when you press start in usb-burning tool, the tv-box is connected with pc via usb-cable, but the power-cable on tv-box is disconnected, right? this is reported in the tool manual.
you donĀ“t speak about this.
Great work on this rom. Thanks for that. I experience an issue, maybe you can help. I installed SCV4 and updated to SCV6. Now, randomly, the interface menus change to what I think is Korean or maybe Chinese. Can't read them. I reverted back to OEM rom but would prefer this one as it seems to be faster. LEt me know if any of you encounter this issue or if there's a way to resolve it. Thanks.

Because for a long time there were no firmware with 6.0.1, I decided to compile a new firmware on the basis of the most successful firmware from June 20, in my opinion.
The kernel remains, too, but some programs and configs have been updated.
So in this firmware there is:
1. MxPlayerPro 1.9.5 NEON
2. ES Explorer Pro 1.0.9
3. kodi-20170827-1ef7165-shitty-armeabi-v7a
4. Reboot 2.1.0
5. Titanium Backup PRO 8.0.2 light
So Also a patch for WiFi is installed and PlayMarket 8.1.73.S is installed.
ATTENTION: Everything you do with your box, you do at your own peril and risk!
The Above is from Chrome Translation it is all that I have.
Make a "heatpipe" to transder heat to outside. (Used copper shims and kafuter k-5204k as thermal glue)
Use thermal grease, no glue on top for connecting nice large heatsink.
Put 90x90x18mm heatsink on top.
Didn't connect it permanenty, but first tests just laying the heatsink in top of "heatpipe" showed a about 20 degrees ambient delta (celcius) with a cpu burner test running.
Looking for a slightly bigger heatsink with thick base, and lots of fin's.
Using a smaller heatsink 80x80x7mm results in about 5 degrees higher.
Fyi, while testing, just having the printed circuit on table, there where no components other then cpu which felt hot.
No need to cool anything if cpu heat gets out easy.
Thinking of:
isolating the "heatpipe" preventing heating up the inner part.
isolating the bottomside heatsink and case, preventing heating up the case/inner parts.
Regards,
Arjan
have you done the heatpipe project? i have many copper plates... thinking doing that...
did you findout how to connect a fan or what are the two pins near the LED are?
You are doing your research, that good.
I did not include info on power cable to prevent it's use.
Windows and Amlogic World Cup drivers are finicky. I've not used Fastboot drivers and don't know how they'll interact on windows(if you use windows).
Just a test....With Burn Tool visible, when you attach usb cable, does your windows detect your device and Burn Tool display port connection?
If your drivers are successfully installed then you are good to go. Detach cable and start my suggested procedure.
These forums probably have better and clearer descriptions on how to. Lots of info on the net and Youtube that contradict each other.
Seems to be a problem with the menu and mouse button on the remote control being reversed, noticed it when i tried to remove an app from the desktop favourites.
