2018 firmware for H96 Pro+

Hello, everyone!

I have been browsing this forum for quite some time and found some useful advicee and firmware in the past. Thank you! However, this is my first post.

I have been using H96 Pro+ for quite some time and I have to say that it is an awesome gadget. However, I cannot locate any new ROM (firmware) lately. I am using one from december 2017. Is there any 2018 firmware that you are aware off? BTW...I am using the strain of firmware that begins with aml_7.1_s912_q9377-S912_KDMC_mac-.

And the second question... Does anybody know if Oreo (Android 8.x) is coming to H96 Pro+?

Nope, there is no 2018 firmware for H96 Pro+ at the moment. Latest available are aml-7.1.2-s912-q9377-S912-mac-20171206 (for S32-V2.2/V3), aml-7.1.2-s912-q9377-S912-mac-20171206_H96PROPLUS_LOGO (also for S32-V2.2/V3), aml-7.1.2-s912-q9377-S912-XGO-mac-20171206 (next one for S32-V2.2/V3) and aml-7.1.2-s912-q9377-S912-XGO-LP-mac-20171206 (for S32-V5/V6).

Hi, can i have an Alfawise H96 pro + v6 3/32gb (blue pcb). I have seen that the last fw is date 2017/12/06. On mega i see two different version:


aml_7.1.2_s912_q9377-S912_LP_mac-20171206.7z

and

aml_7.1.2_s912_q9377-S912_XGO_LP_mac-20171206.7z

What is the difference between the two firmware? Whitch one shoud i install?

Also i noticed always video and audio sync issue on Youtube for Android TV apk. Both on stock and superceleron firmware. Im the only one facing this issue?

As far as I know there is no difference between LP, XGO_LP and KDMC (KDMC_LP?) firmwares. Other than their name.

I have the following box with green board

ZH01-S912-TVBox~-V2.0 with date 2017-08-23 (see picture alfa-board)

actual firmware instalaled from 26.08.17 (see picture alfa-actual)

My question: can i install the superceleron rom,. first SCV4 image file and then OTA update to SCV7A from this rom?

As for supercereron's roms I only heard that it works with TVBOX-V3.0. Not with V2.0.

As for original firmware, than what You shown is firmware for S32-V2.2/V3, not for TV2.0.
V3.0 is Wisdom, right? Than V2.0 may be one as well.

Thanks for your help. So as I understand I cannot use superceleron's rom.

And concerning the firmware-roms, which exactly you would suggest to me?

And how I do it. If I want to use the installed Ota-Update app, I need a file with zip extension right? And on the download site there are only z7 extension.

For OTA You need .zip. However official firmware are images to be flashed using Amlogic USB Burning Tool or via SDcard method.

They work with V3.0, but don't know about V2.0. Should, but I won't tell they do.

No difference with older firmwares. At least nothing, which could be seen. Security patches are from August...

If You have S32-V2.2 or V3 You may flash it. However SC roms should work better, but they miss some things.
