Help on upgrade witch firmware?

Hi all.
I just got an H96 PRO box (Used) from a friend how don´t know any thing about this box and never used it and now i got my hands on it but don´t know where to begin.

So my problem is that it is a box like this in photo 1.
But when i start it up it is like in photo 2.
Also in settings / about the box it says that it is a PRO+

It is an S912 with 3/32 GB
So my problem is that it runs Android 6.0 and i want to upgrade it but don´t know witch firmware to use and need a good guide for this to as i have a male to mail USB cable and downloaded the Burning tool from entertainmentbox.com .

So if any one can give me some help on what firmware to us and how i do exactly how the upgrade is done.

I am new to all this and rely need your help.

Easiest way would be to open the case and check the PCB.

1. Put TWRP in usb flash drive and do a backup of original fw.
2. Carefully open the case with plastic driver or card and check the PCB as ch3mn3y suggested.

I did that and upgraded my box without voiding warranty.

So it will boot form USB drive? Thought that recovery mode only check SDcard for /img to boot drom.

Yes it's working with my box with usb closer to ac port.
USB drive need to be formated to FAT32, I've used 4GB SanDisk,
