    Root

Is it possible to get root access to Amlogic s912?

    Many thanks!

Yes. Get an image of recovery (TWRP is probably the only one available) and zip with MAGISK and flash the zip with recovery. Do not use SuperSU as it seems that it soft bricks some Boxes.

So You already have TWRP. Now You need this: https://forum.xda-developers.com/app...mless-t3473445
Or this (it's beta of the above one): https://forum.xda-developers.com/app...80cb6-t3618589
        Both works fine.

Than You have to use update app (if it works for You, coz for some people it doesn't) to flash the .zip.
Or just boot to TWRP: turn off the Box, disconnect power cord, start pushing reset button, connect power, keep pushing for 5 seconds or more.
It should boot TWRP where You should go to "Install". There is limited File Manager which You need to use to look for downloaded .zip, choose it and swipe to start Flashing. After it finishes reboot the device and You will have rooted firmware.

ch3mn3y, thank you for your tireless work here!
Your answers are always professional and easy to understand.
I knew that I have TWRB, but for some reason I could not boot. Now it worked.
Please excuse my bad english, which unfortunately is not better by Google. :-)

          Best regards
