Is there a stock firmware available for this particular model?

At this moment, there is no such one.

No review for this box? I want to buy it for the price, but I can not figure out if it's good or not.

Thanks. I haven't great needs, only a solid box to play video on Kodi or Vlc. I like to have the last hardware, so I opted for an AMlogic s912, with good quality built and cheap price. I also seen the GT1, but it seems to have green screen's problems and poor wifi. The second thing that interest me is the support: I don't want to buy a box that doesn't receive OTA or firmware updates. Do you think that this box is good for my needs?

Whilst many boxes promise OTA updates, the reality is that few of the lowest cost ones actually do and some that do tend to wipe your data as part of the update process and therefore the term OTA is very subjective.

So updates will more likely come in the form of full flashable images but then again, the custom and modded ones from devs and enthusiasts are likely to be better than the manufacturer's efforts, so you will likely end up flashing one way or another.

Marshmallow on the S912 is still in it's earlier stages of development too, so will take some time to mature, although the general deficiencies from an out of the box experience are far less than they would have been a year ago, so scope for a positive outlook.

Because of lack of antena. Wifi be ok at best. Never better without it. So if wifi important look for one with external.

The Yundoo has no external antenna and works very well but it could be a useful addition if box and router are far apart and more of a guarantee of a stronger signal is required.
