Mecool M8S Pro Power button help!!!

i have a Mecool M8S PRO

does this box not go into standby/sleep mode

every time press the power button, then try to turn back on the box has the mecool logo and boots up like it has been powered off ?

yes im aware of the power defention setting and its set to sleep now


why does this box always have to boot up ? every android box i owned if i left kodi open and turn off the box is would just into sleep mode then when i powered on the box would power on and into kodi

Hi Duboisbrian,

Go to setting and then choose powerkey definition,from there u can select what the power button will represent.

Hahaha,Sorry..didn't read your thread carefully..

I face a problem with this box too..i cant run kodi..contact my supplier and he said that i have to use a preinstalled forke kodi call tv centre..both face the same proble..syatem hang and dont response..box have a problem too with installing apks..i really regret buying this box..i was deceived by the 3gb ram...
