Vorke Z6 - The Most Powerful Android TV Box

It turns out, this part of the question is actually very simple. Vorke Z6 is one of the msot powerfull smart Android Nougat TV boxes powered by the Amlogic S912 SoC .Yes you heard right, it is the best box available at this moment.

When it coems to memory, Vorke Z6 has 3 GB of RAM combined with a 16 GB of storage space which of course you can upgrade using the microSD card. As you can see, without exaggeration, it has strong hardware for its price tag.

Of course, you may try many different things from playing games, watching 4K movies, to surfing the Internet and more importantly, everything is expected to work precisely as it should. In a nutshell, Vorke Z6 should be the go-to choice if you’re someone who`s new to streaming devices and TV boxes, or a professional who wants an option to install whatever apps that are preferred.

    Video Playback with Kodi 17.3

Normally, Kodi is the key to every media player, Z6 is no exception. It comes with the newest Kodi 17.3 which will worklike a charm. In other words, it will work without any lags, when watching movies, TV shows, playing games, or whatever of your choice.

AC WiFi, Gigatbit Ethernet and Bluetooth 4.1 Connectivity

We noticed that cheaper models does not have some connectivity functions like Bluetooth which is very important for several reasons, especially for wireless keyboards, mouses, and most important gamepads. But don’t worry, Vorke Z6 has all connectivity functions including Bluetooth v4.1, besides the Wi-Fi 2.4GHZ/5.8GHZ 802.11a/b/g/n /ac, and 100M/1000M Ethernet.

Switch on all Good no Problems found here with, WiFi or Ethernet, Log into Google easy setup.
Updated apps, installed testers all good.

Interesting UI good to see something a little different, and the Hardware Build looks ok.

Yes it has a clock bit bright, and a blue glowy Power Button on top of unit.
Shows Connection WiFi/Ethernet, If USB plugged in and Clock, and no Red Glowy led like show in OP

While testing Temps range 50C to mid 60c no melt downs..looking good.
No major quirks noticed while in operation, should be good

Remote is Only OK I found and not very directional

Let's have a look at UI and some Information and tests.

      UI/Launcher

      Installed Apps

      System Area

      First lot of Settings:

Only Drm L3, so we all know the deal. Netflix loaded looks ok as, let's hope we can see L1 On these boxes and make things more interesting.

      CPU-Z

      Root No Su

Ram and Storage Truth all seems to be there.

Antutu, interesting A7 running 32 bit would have thought 64 like many others, may be a reaon.

      A1 SD, looking ok

OTA update as well fix a few minor issues

Much the same as S912 boxes, Ram speeds good, Heat not a problem, good ventilation should be good unit and the bonus clock as well.

Again, MeCool has raised the bar, all new devices should support Widevine level 1 and support HDCP., or they will get left behind.

Further testing it does have a USB3 hub in there but how it's part of the deal, I am not aware as I type, maybe White is the new Blue USB 3 colour
I will do some test later and see what happens

GREAT observation.. USB 3 will accelerate transfer of data . A small blessing to users. I have bought usb 3.1 pendrive, with blue instead of black part which goes in the box port. Must wait your test whether the USB 3 port is really doing the job with slightly faster speed. Best Wishes.

Only 2 usb ports both report same when device inserted does not alter or appear to used, SD card the same so not sure what it's all about.

I notice that Vorke has a sticker TX92 A on the pcb, while Tanix has the sticker TX92 B.

I assume the letter determines the grade of the components.

Anyway, any further news/experience on either the Vorke or the Tanix?

I was ready to place an order this morning for the Magicsee Iron+ when I stumbled on this box, and which looks interesting to me, if the quality and firmware is performing well.

I just had a look at the official Vorke website.

For the Z6 they post pictures from a Foresee eMMC chip, which is not on the PCB pictures Trebor posted, but what is more it 's mounted on a S905X board

                  Hmmm
