Mecool M8S Pro L LQ latest firmware update required ?

I haven't updated this box since I purchased when it first came out last year. firmware says 2170918

I do not have the Bluetooth remote.

The OTA on the box says no update found.


Can someone point me in the right direction for the OEM update firmware for this model, as there must be something newer since its release last year?

Anyway to get OTA working?

Do you want the Android TV OS version or the launcher one you have now?

I am not really sure of the differences, but I think I should start with the original for starters.

Have the LQ version of this box, installed with FW "M8S_PRO_L-ota-20180205.111652.V0928-fixed", works fine but it freezes sometimes ... I need a newer version if it exists at all. Does anyone have a newer version than the one specified?

Also looking for what's the latest original fw for the LQ version, but I would consider a custom as an experiment.
