[ROM] Khadas Vim 2 - SCV3 Beta ("Normal" Android)

Hi thanks for your work on this Rom.. I like it , HOWEVER this is the 3rd time now that something gets corrupt without doing anything and it says rebooting.
After reboot it's stuck on the Android bouncing ball boot animations.
Only way to fix it is, install SCV3 Beta

ATX install in recovery.

Not sure what's happening..

Looking forward to a new release.. ;-)

hmm strange, well try the VTV version, it will also work on non-vtv devices.

Well, I put the image file on a Micro SD card using Etcher, plugged it into the Vim and attempted to press and hold the power button while tabbing the reset button, but it never goes into update mode.

Am I missing something?

Surprised if no one else are seeing this issue of boot hang with Android ball bouncing boot graphics..
The only thing I did was updateSuperSu, after reboot.. hangs..
This happens on clean installs

Only fix is flash SCV3 Beta in recovery..
I Titanium backed up my device ready for next time.. Did notice FlashFire backup doesn't work.
To bad we can't get TWRP installed yet.

Want to upgrade…
I downloaded VIM2_Nougat_V180209.7z , extracted a txt and .img file.
How to upgrade a .img file?

In Factory Recovery, it only recognizes .zip files.

In Android in the OTA Update APP
Model VIM2
OTA Version:
00502001
-OTA Update - only accepts .zip files
- local update doesn't work

Original build.
Bscv3 atv beta always crashed after a while and stopped booting
or
vtv-atv.zip , bluetooth drivers not working.

Unfortunately Vim2 = 912 chipset and Amlogic never got us new kernels and Android versions of it.

Is there at least an updated ATV version of this? Please post link to latest.

well no new version... i still hope amlogic fix the issues of s912 with PIE so i can make a build!
