I do not have this device, but if it happens again or is recurring, check power supply or substitute a suitable PS.

            just once to date?
box/ cpu temps seem in line with your norms?
Added to RICy's advise, ya might try adding active cooling?

if im spending $130 on a box, i would like to have it a 4GB RAM, even if im not playing games, it makes it future proof, even cheap $50-$60 boxes coming have 4GB ram, so why not?
yeah, i will be happy with 3GB too, but certainly using a 2GB in 2019 is a joke, my first box 3 years ago had 2GB ram.

REALLY? It damn sure WASN'T DDR4, or Samsung, or came with a Samsung EMMC in a Metal Housing with a superior setting UI, with Real Updates immediately ....Did It??
The Ugo 6, on promo pricing, Is a great value. Imo.

Ddr4 is far away superior to any previous generation, extremely efficient and "self-clearing".
Now, 3gb would really be super "future proofed", I think the moduals are 1 or 2gb units and mixing 1 of each maybe problematic. Tho I'd buy if possible....and it would definitely be at an added cost.
4g, as I see it is over-kil, unless your doing Heavy Vid editing or AI work.
__ Ya get what ya are willing to pay for, Maybe, stick with the CheapShite?

trebor I know it's in your right up here somewhere, but I can't seem to find it ... this is a 32-bit system, as most amlogic?
Or does it break the mold, going to 64?

I'm thinking that the ddr4 makes a 64bit system even less desirable or needed.
Correct me as needed...but, I may recall a similar reference by Guest to most memory requirements?
tho 32bt can handicap some games and apps, minimal effects to most operations discussed here.
                        ...Am I close?

Both my weather app, and my CPU monitor are displayed in Fahrenheit, as widgets on my desktop. The weather app even contains current system status. Like storage and RAM availability.
